Description
Oyster mushroom cultivation has become increasingly popular, especially because this mushroom is highly favored in vegan and vegetarian diets. In addition to large-scale production, ready-made mushroom substrates are also popular for home growing. Oyster mushrooms can be cultivated all year round, provided they are given the right conditions.
Oyster mushrooms grow from a prepared substrate, commonly known as a bale.
Bales are compressed blocks or cubes made of moist chopped straw, fully colonized by mycelium. They are placed in perforated plastic bags.
At the perforation points, beautiful oyster mushroom clusters emerge and mature during the fruiting process. Cultivation should aim to produce the highest possible quality and yield in the shortest time. Under optimal conditions, one bale can yield between 4 and 6 kg of mushrooms.
Using our oyster mushroom hole cutter significantly increases the yield from each bale by up to several dozen percent.
Our hole saw allows for quick and precise creation of additional openings in the bale for mushroom clusters to grow.
The holes made with our tool are precise and of optimal size. The incision creates an ideal indentation that supports a favorable microclimate for cluster formation, resulting in more fruiting bodies and higher yields.
